Tigers Roll on with big win over Rival Cobras!

The Kennebec Valley Tigers came to play and defeated an improved Notre Dame Cobra team 39-21 last Saturday at Madison Area Memorial High School.

CraftyJuke

Tiger linebacker Brandon Craft puts the juke on Cobra QB Stan Cobb after a second half interception.

The Tigers scored on their first three possessions to set the tone for a long night for the Cobras. The Tiger's defense held the Cobras to one long TD pass in the first half and allowed a couple more long passes late in the game. The game ended a day of festivities at Madison-Anson Days and was well attended by the local football fans. Thanks for coming out to watch what we hope will become an annual event. As always, many thanks to all the volunteers who make the games in Madison possible. It's a GREAT place to play!

PuntPressure

Tiger defenders Ray Toye (10), Scott Sockabasin (67) and Brandon Craft (54) come just short of a punt block.

The Tigers travel to Belfast for a game against the Mid-Coast Chaos on the Saturday after Labor Day weekend. The next home game for the Tigers is set for a 2pm kickoff on Sunday, September 14.

The Tiger offense rolled up 6 scores from 6 different players!
